Locally owned and operated by local mountain biking legend, Jonny Clapcott, FourB has filled a gap in the market to help make accessing and enjoying the trails that so much easier. 

FourB are your one-stop-shop when it comes to mountain biking in the Central North Island with their huge range of rental bikes and e-bikes, their skilled and knowledgeable guides, and their friendly and efficient shuttle services.   They also work closely with Taxicat Adventures who offer the boat shuttles across the Great Lake Trails.

HUKA FALLS GEOTHERMAL RIDE

3hrs

This 17km loop has an incredible variety of scenery including the famous Huka Falls, views of New Zealand's first geothermal power station.

The loop starts at FourB's base and continues along the Waikato river bringing you out to the Aratiatia dam where you can see the opening of the control gates (tourist spill). After seeing the incredible Aratiatia rapids at full flow, where The Hobbit was filmed, your ride returns via the breath-taking geothermal streams to our store.
 

ORAKAU TO KINLOCH

4hrs

Take the FourB great lake trail shuttle from either Taupo or Kinloch and get dropped at Orakau carpark. Ride The 21kms via Kawakawa Bay or the 14kms Otaketake back to Kinloch.  Be aware that both of these trails still have some difficult sections and would not be suitable for learner children or those that could not ride for an extended period of time.

WAIHAHA / WAIHORA with BOAT SHUTTLE

Full Day

The Waihaha/Waihora section of the Great Lake trail. Catch the FourB Great Lake trail shuttle from Kinloch to the Waihaha Bridge, the start of the Waihaha/Waihora section. Ride 31kms to Waihora Bay and catch the boat shuttle back to your vehicle In Kinloch.
