Grade 3 White Water
The most fun you’ll have in Taupō – take on 60 heart-pounding, roller coaster rapids on the Tongariro river with an expert guide at the helm, guiding your boat.

Gentler Grade 2 for the whole family
This is the perfect family activity – you, the kids, and an awesome guide in one raft, on an adventure on the Tongariro River – this is the ‘Family Float’ rafting adventure.
RAFT FISHING
World famous fishing, only accessible by raft
This wilderness section of the river, with its crystal clear pools and unspoiled runs, gets minimal angling pressure compared to the lower Tongariro and can, therefore, deliver exceptional fishing.
The upper river is open to anglers from December 1st to May 31st each year.
